It sucks, really sucks, that a bunch of privileged millionaires in Congress and that silver-spoon-in-the-mouth President of ours are going to decide if my annual social security income will be $14,000 or $9,000 with little or no adjustment for inflation. They're litterally putting the "fix" in fixed income!

Hey Stevie,
This is a test. I just want to see if I can respond without joining the blogging craze. Keep up the rant because there are a number of us who agree with you. I can’t wait to see you again -- and maybe pat you down for those eyeglasses! I planned to visit family in Feb. but it doesn’t look like a trip to Missouri is going to happen this month. School really does hamper my ability to travel. Sometimes school sucks!

Bush sucks, school sucks, fixed incomes suck, but I love y'all. And if Lana wasn't the overachiever of all time she could visit both of us! I think we ought to reinstitue communes - we could all be together and it would cost less. Anybody interested?
